Strathmore in N. Bethesda hosts WoCo Fest this weekend

Looking for something fun to do this week without leaving the neighborhood? This issue is all about those easy, local wins where you can learn something new and meet people right here.

A brand-new mahjong community is hosting its first DMV gathering in Potomac. If you're looking for something more low-key, a neighborhood bingo night in Rockville is opening its doors to everyone—no membership required. Also, the 49-year-old dinner theatre in Rockville is opening ticket sales on May 1. Their summer season is worth putting on your calendar now before it fills up.

And since finding your "people" is often easiest over a good book, we’ve put together a free guide to public book clubs in Bethesda, Potomac, and nearby. If you’ve been looking for a way to get involved locally, this is a great place to start.
