Ready for the garden and house tours this weekend?
It’s graduation season around here, and The Good Week sends heartfelt congratulations to all the graduating high school and college seniors. Kudos to the parents, too. You earned at least part of that diploma.
And for any new empty nesters out there: no need to panic-scroll your way through the quiet. We’ve got you covered with plenty to do in and around Potomac, Bethesda, and Rockville.
This week, five private gardens open their gates in Potomac, artist studios welcome visitors at Glen Echo, and somewhere in Rockville, a dog is about to have the best Thursday of his life. There’s also a French pastry class, a belly dance instructor who performed in Egypt, and a golden-hour kayak tour of Little Seneca Lake.
Scroll down. There’s a lot of fun to be had this week.
✨ THIS ISSUE’S TOP PICK
For one afternoon on June 6, you get permission to do something that would normally be considered nosy: wander through five private Potomac gardens and see what local gardeners have created behind the hedges, fences, and front gates. Learn more by scrolling below, or click to purchase tickets. Great to pair with the Kensington House Tour on June 7 — a popular pick from last week’s issue.
