Step into an exhibition shaped around one of the simplest rituals: tea. Steeped explores the history, sensory details, and traditions tied to tea, through works made with tea itself and pieces inspired by the vessels used to serve it.

The Gaithersburg Film Festival brings three days of short films, documentaries, and feature screenings to the Arts Barn, with a focus on stories and perspectives you are less likely to see elsewhere. Each day is structured differently, so you can choose what fits. Friday opens with a reception and a short film block. Ongoing | Lockhouse 21, Potomac
Take part in caring for a 200-year-old lockhouse along the C&O Canal. This volunteer role supports the Canal Quarters program, where guests stay overnight in restored lockhouses and experience canal life firsthand.
