Halloween House

Halloween isn’t just for kids around here. Thanks to the neighbors who go all out with the decorations and make the neighborhood feel a little more festive. This issue, and the ones ahead, are full of ways for adults to get into the spirit too, from spooky movies and costume contests to pumpkin painting, sculptural carving, and plenty more.

There’s nothing that makes me happier than hearing from The Good Week readers, and this note from Kirsten J. made my day:

❝

β€œI went to the Manhattan Short Film Festival last week thanks to your recommendation and it was fantastic! I had never even heard of the Arts Barn so it was my first visit there too! Thank you!”

The Good Week reader Kirsten J.

Thank you, Kirsten! This is exactly why I started The Good Week. There are so many interesting places, events, and experiences close to home, but they’re often scattered across different websites, calendars, and social feeds.

I love bringing those finds together in one place so you can spend less time searching and more time getting out, trying something new, and enjoying what’s happening nearby.
